A Surgical Face Mask is a disposable medical device that creates a barrier between the mouth, nose and chin of the healthcare providers and patients. It limits the transmission of potential hazardous contaminations such as bacteria, virus and body fluids between healthcare provider and the patient.
Outer Layer (Hydrophobic)
Repels fluid, block large particle droplets, and splashes that may contain germs and viruses.
Melt blown Filter
Filter 98% of Bacteria, and 98% of Particles at 0.1 micron (0.0001 mm).
Inner Layer (Hydrophilic)
Protect the patient and surrounding by trapping potential contaminants such as saliva and respiratory secretions of the wearer.
Hydrophobic – Repelling, tending not to combine with, or incapable of dissolving in water
Hydrophilic – having a strong affinity for water, tending to dissolve in, mix with or be wetted by fluid / water
Exceptional Breathability ≤ 2.7 mmH2O/cm² (Cool) – allowing the passage of filtered air and moisture
Filtration Efficiency of 98% and greater in Bacteria (Biological Aerosol of Staphylococcus Aureus)
Filtration Efficiency of 98% and greater in Latex Particle Challenge (0.001 mm)
